becca trainer of the m onthEach month we feature one of our incredible Pilates 1901 Training team.

That’s because all of our STOTT Pilates trainers have put in countless hours of training, observation and practice teaching before they were ever allowed to work with one of our clients.

We want to honor them for their dedication, commitment and positive service to the studio and each one of our clients.  If you have ever been to Pilates 1901 you know what we are talking about.  We can truly say this studio is a DIVA Free zone where our clients and customers can learn and feel supported in a caring and open atmosphere.

This month we are pleased to introduce you to Ms Becca Baxter who had previous training in another form of Pilates but felt compelled to continue her education with us at Pilates 1901 after she was introduced to us as a Groupon client.  That’s why we love our Groupon offer:  it has introduced so many wonderful loyal clients and at least three of our trainers to the studio.

1Rebecca (Becca)  was born in Ft. Worth, Texas and was raised in Seattle and Spokane, Washington.  In 2000, she graduated from Whitworth Presbyterian University in Spokane with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education and an emphasis in 3D Design and ceramics.

Becca enjoys all forms of exercise, but her main loves are walking, kayaking, and Pilates.  She is also a member of the KC Clay Guild and frequently visit the Nelson-Atkins, Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, AR,  and the Kemper.

Becca loves working with clients of ages and abilities and feels she has a kind and supportive nature to help them achieve their goals.

Her long term goal is to merge Pilates and counseling into a private practice as she believes in order to have true healing and emotional balance, there must be a mind body connection.
