Myth #1: The Key to Flat Abs are Crunches
While it is true that crunches will help to strengthen and define your abs, you’ll never have “flat” abs unless you burn off fat. Pilates 1901 offers High-Intensity Interval Training (also known as HIIT) to help you burn fat most effectively.
Myth #2: A Great Workout Means TONS of Sweat

Myth #5: You Must Stretch to Recover Faster
Studies show that stretching actually has little effect on muscle fatigue after a high-intensity workout. However, at Pilates 1901 we encourage stretching during a cool-down as a feel-good reward and to help with flexibility.
