At the end of the course you are qualified to design and teach essential and intermediate level matwork classes, integrate small equipment to add variety, and meet the specific needs of your clients-from post rehabilitation patients to elite athletes.

Prerequisites: A solid knowledge of functional anatomy, familiarity with Pilates

Course duration: 40 hours of instruction, 10 hrs. observation, 30 hrs. physical review. 15 hrs. practice teaching.

This course teaches you how to combine mat and reformer-based workouts for increased variety and intensity. Upon completion of this course you are able to further motivate group classes and customize personal training sessions for a range of clients-from post rehabilitation patients to elite athletes.

MG_8366By the end of this course, you are able to fine tune both personal and circuit training pro-grams to meet a variety of your clients’ conditioning goals — from post-rehabilitation to athletic performance enhancement.

Prerequisites:  IMP or IR.

Course duration:  50 hours instruction and supervised teaching. Minimum 10 hours observation, 40 hours physical review, 25 hours practice teaching – conducted over three weeks or four weekends.

Pilates1901 will be offering the Intensive Cadillac, Chair & Barrels course in three separate modules, so you can choose what specialty you want to take and when!

*Completion of all three modules is required to be eligible for certification. And now you only need IR or IM to participate, not both to participate!

Athletic Conditioning on V-2 Max Reformer Level 2

Mini Stability Ball Workout

Brighten up your workout and feel energized with the Mini Stability Ball! This Pilates workout incorporates the 7.5" Mini Stability Ball to create total-body strengthening and conditioning.

 

Exercises work on improving posture with a major focus on core stability and back mobility while also lengthening and strengthening the surrounding muscles. Keeping the elements of the STOTT PILATES Five Basic Principles in mind, learn how to add variety and fun to traditional Matwork routines.
