Lisa Looy

Pilates 1901 studio owner, Lisa Looy has been a fitness instructor and manager for 40+ years. She started teaching in the early days of group exercise and personal training, and became a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor in 2008.

Lisa has a deep passion for teaching movement and helping clients improve their posture and proper body alignment with Pilates.  She especially loves helping clients overcome physical challenges as they age or rehab from issues with the back, hips, and her personal favorite, the shoulder.

Lisa teaches group and private sessions on the Reformer, Cadillac, Tower, Stability Chair, Mat, Jump Board and Aerial hammock.  In addition to her STOTT PILATES® certifications, she holds certifications from ACE, NASM, and IDEA.

Tina Sprinkle

Tina Sprinkle is a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor and functional nutrition coach who helps clients build strength and move with confidence. Her work also includes breathwork, fascial release, and somatic exercise. Through T School, she offers seasonal nutrition programs and wellness retreats. Miriam Feingold

Miriam Feingold is a multidisciplinary personal and group trainer specializing in Pilates since 2010.  She has extensive experience in all of the Pilates apparatus- Mat, Reformer, Tower, Cadillace and Chair.  Miriam's background also includes CrossFit instruction and competition since  2011.

Her varied fitness certifications and experience have helped turn her into the master trainer that she is today.  Her intense knowledge and focus on the individual makes her a valuable,  inspiring and effective trainer.  Miriam's genuine care and personalized approach to each client and their needs has created a very loyal and long term client base.

Miriam's Certifications include:

Stott Pilates, CrossFit Level 1, USA Olympic Weightlifting, Inversion Therapy, Zumba,  Stott Pilates Injuries and Special Populations, yearly CEC and prenatal workshops.

Chloe Kester

Chloe has always enjoyed physical fitness! She started doing Pilates 16 years ago and fell in love with it. She earned her STOTT PILATES® certified instructor and began teaching Pilates 14 years ago.

Chloe says that she loves how Pilates increases agility and longevity. She works with clients of all age groups and has noticed how Pilates helps improve flexibility in the spine, and activates the tiny muscles that not only help clients look more toned, but improves balance and posture.

Chloe is a STOTT PILATES® certified Mat and Reformer instructor. She is also STOTT PILATES® trained in the Stability Chair, Advanced Mat, Jump Board and Tower.  Also trained in Injuries and Special Populations, Chloe is knowledgeable about working with individuals who are pregnant, rehabbing from injuries, or have other specific needs.

Shari Harris

Shari’s first love was dance, and she didn’t stop until she was 52 years old. Shari taught ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics in her own studio for over 30 years. Shari retired from dance in 2008 and became a fully certified STOTT PILATES® instructor.

Pilates left her wanting to learn more, so she went back to school in 2009 to become a physical therapy assistant. Shari has enjoyed her second career as a licensed PTA, using her dance and Pilates skills to improve her patients' functional mobility and decrease their fall risk.

Shari started teaching at Pilates 1901 in 2018, has quickly become a very popular and sought-after trainer. Shari specializes in working with clients who are dealing with back, hip, and shoulder injuries and neurological conditions.

Shari loves what she does, and her clients feel that. Shari loves to learn and is continuously studying the latest modalities to help her clients get stronger and more mobile.

Amanda Jesse Iiams

AMANDA JESSEE IIAMS, M.A., NPCT, CSCS, ACE, NKT Level 3

Amanda has been a leader in the health and fitness industry since 1987. She began her career as a group fitness instructor and continued to teach all types of group fitness classes until she became certified to teach Pilates in 2000.

She holds a BA in Exercise Science and an MA in Higher Education Curriculum Development/Exercise Physiology. She has been providing high-quality, exercise science-based Pilates teacher training to Pilates teachers for almost 2 decades through her school, the Pilates Instructor Academy.

Her philosophy toward teaching Pilates is to provide a safe and fun environment for clients and future instructors to grow, learn, and improve.

Kris Tucker

Kansas City native, Kris Tucker has over 40 years of experience in the fitness industry as a group exercise instructor, personal trainer and Pilates instructor.

A STOTT Pilates trained instructor, Kris has gained extensive knowledge in how the body moves and why sometimes our muscles don't cooperate with our heads! She stays on top of the latest techniques to keep her clients challenged.  

Kris relates to all ages and fitness levels, and focuses on seniors and Injury rehabilitation.  She holds certificates in group exercise and personal training from the American College on Exercise, Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, and Pain-Free Movement Specialist from ACE.

Anne Schiavone

Fitness has always been a part of Anne’s life!  Anne was an elite level gymnast, competing nationally and internationally, and was a DI college gymnast.

Pilates became one of Anne’s favorite workouts 17 years ago, and has been a long-time attendee of Pilates 1901. She loves not only the physical workout of Pilates but also the mind-body connection it requires.

Anne became a certified STOTT PILATES Reformer instructor in 2025.  When she is not practicing law full time, she teaches group classes and private lessons at Pilates 1901.

She loves connecting with new people and loves to see them embrace Pilates as she did years ago!

Esther Bennett

Esther has always loved learning and challenging herself.  She earned her Massage Therapist liscence in 2008, and began teaching fitness in 2021 after becoming a cerfitified personal trainer through NASM. 

She fell in love with Pilates and completed her training as a STOTT PILATES certified Reformer and Mat instructor in 2026.  She joined Pilates 1901 this year teaching Private pilates sessions and Mat and Reformer classes.

Esther uses her knowledge and experience to help clients reach their individual fitness goals.  She loves helping clients learn to work with their bodies to increase strength, improve stability and  mobility, along with reducing pain and restriction in movement.
